World’s Ugliest Dog Found in California
A two-year-old mutt named Peanut won the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest in San Francisco last month. Burned as a puppy, he spent 9 months in a shelter before he was adopted by Holly Chandler of Greenville, N.C .
Peanut is now a healthy, happy dog. Because of her experiences with Peanut, Chandler entered the competition to raise awareness for pet abuse and plans to use the $1,500 prize money to help pay for other pets’ veterinary bills.
