Complete Petmart was founded in 1985 by Clay & Mary Mathile, the former owners of The Iams Company, and the first prototype store was called ‘Petfood Station’. After additional market research and store redesign the first ‘Complete Petmart’ was opened in 1987 in Centerville, OH. In 1995 Complete Petmart was sold to the current owners, Kevin Manley and Tim Rogers. Complete Petmart is headquartered in Dayton, OH and currently has stores in Ohio (in the Austintown, Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus markets), Northern Kentucky, West Virginia, and North Carolina markets.

Complete Petmart may just be your – and your pet’s – best friend. All our stores offer a complete supply of food, toys, bedding, collars, equipment and just about anything else owners need and pets want. But one of the biggest things the stores supply is service. We pride ourselves on our employee training programs and have been recognized within the industry with awards for our training efforts.

Complete Petmart stores are pet-friendly. Snapshots of pets are posted on bulletin boards in all of the stores. Pets are welcome to shop with their owners.
